Product Introduction

Sodium Alpha-Olefin Sulfonate, abbreviated as AOS, is a high-performance green anionic surfactant manufactured by sulfonation of linear α-olefin followed by neutralization with sodium hydroxide. Industrial mainstream specification is 35% active aqueous liquid.
Its molecular structure contains double bond sulfonate group, combining outstanding detergency, rich fine foam, excellent hard water resistance and rapid biodegradability. Different from LAS, SLS and AES, AOS maintains stable washing performance under high calcium & magnesium ion environment, without generating insoluble calcium soap precipitation. It can be perfectly compounded with nonionic surfactants (AEO, PEG), LAS, AES, AEC and cationic surfactants.
